All Values Used by this function are exported from the main window when the function launches.
You may if you wish change the kill zone, however this is the only value that can be changed in this window.
* Note the Kill Zone is the diameter in inches that you want calculated. The Mpbr will will calculate the values based on the radius of this value. In other words if you input a Kill Zone of 16 inches, the program will Calculate all sighting possibilities until it finds the Sight-in range where the Yards value is the highest within +- 8" of the zero path.
To use the Mpbr Function first select an animal, if the animal you want is not in the list, choose the add animal button to add your animal. You do not need to add the # to the weight, that is done by the program. Clicking the add button also allows you to remove an animal from the list if you so choose.
Once you have your animal selected just click on Calculate and the program will start running the various sight-in's. You will notice a progress bar that will show you the advancement of the calculations. These calculations will take some time so be patient. The larger your kill zone the longer the calculations will take. You will also notice that as the progress continues the speed will increase, this is do to the fact that at longer sight in ranges the kill zone is exceeded much faster. The program calculates sightings from 1 to 10005 yards.
The initial calculations will first calculate the maximum range by game wt. then will continue once this value is found. So you will notice that both output boxes will cycle at first then the Mpbr output box will stop and only the game wt will be cycled. This is normal operation.
Once the Calculations are complete you can choose to Save, Graph, Print the table or View the Range Tables.
