The List Menu

graphic
The List Menu was created to allow you to reorganize your favorite Program Functions for easy, one-click access on the left hand side of the screen.
You can rearrange the List Menu to suit your needs, regardless of your particular profession, expertise, or hobby as it pertains to ballistics.
The first time you run TOTALLY BALLISTICS the Menu List will contain all of the Menu items available. However you must scroll through the list in order to see all of the Program Functions. Use the yellow arrows on the left-hand side of the menu list.
You will notice that the left hand side of the list object will display a Yellow page, or White Balloon. These are quick help buttons. You can click them to go directly to that function in the help file (Yellow page), or a Pop up help listing (white Balloon).
The Red "X" in the upper right corner will partially minimize the List Menu to provide you more room in the main data window when you need it.
You may use as few or as many of the Program Functions in the List Menu as you prefer.
You can customize the appearance and order of the Menu List as described below.
For Example:
You might decide that you seldom use the Scope Click Adjustment, the Shotgun Log and the Recoil Energy Calculator.
...OR...
If you are a Reloader you may want only the program functions that are concerned with Reloading in the List Menu for quick easy access.
Select Adjust Menu List from the Help Menu.

The following Window will appear:

You can use the "Quick Bullet Selector" at the bottom left of the List Menu to select a load from the database.
Once you have selected the record you want, press the red button to return to the Main Form where your values will have been added.
You may also import to the main form a factory load from the Ammunition Manufacturers Data, access through the Program Functions Menu in the Main Menu or the List Menu.

Once you have entered the required information, click on the Run Calculations button to get the results. The results will be displayed on the Main Window.

You may add notes regarding your load by typing in the area marked "Notes". It is important to keep in mind that your lines should not be longer than you can visibly see in this window. Use your Enter key to start a new line. Lines that are longer than this will not be printed on your printer properly. Notes are limited in space so try to keep them as short as possible. Notes can also be added or edited using the File Viewer when you choose to open a saved file. You can save your calculations to a file by entering a file name in the file name box and clicking the Save File button. If you want to add this saved filed to your Reloaders log select YES when asked or NO if not. You can automatically save all your saved files to your reloaders log by selecting Always Save to Log in the Options Menu.

If you click on the word cartridge ( flashes red until data has been input) in the data input window, you will open the Ammunition Manufacturers Data Window (see Manufacturers Load Data). You can adjust the values in increments by clicking the arrow buttons to advance the value up or down.

To select the log to use for the component lists click on the label next to the input box and select the log to use. The logs chosen will be saved when you exit the program, removing the log after setting it will make the components unavailable, and you will need to reset the log.
