Energy Range Calculator

The Energy Range Calculator lets you calculate and graph energy/velocity based upon your required retained energy.

(The energy needed to kill the desired game or needed to knock down that target)

To access the Energy Calculator select Energy v. Range from the Calculators in the Main Menu or the List Menu.

Enter the required energy to maintain and fill in the corresponding field text boxes.

When you have entered all your information click on the Calculate Button.

You will see the calculations being carried out and when it has finished calculating it will show you the maximum yardage you can expect from your inputted required retained energy value for that load.

It will also show you the velocity at which your bullet will be traveling when it reaches this yardage as well as the energy rate that was maintained.

It will then graph these calculations showing you both the energy and velocity in graph form.

You can then print out these results and graph by clicking the print button and save these calculations to your hard drive.

When you click on the Save Button a new message window will appear asking you to type in a name for your file.

All saved Energy v.Range files will be shown in the saved file list box.

To open any one simply double click on the saved file name from the list box.
