graphic

The Target Analyzer is a way for you to bring your target home and get a copy of it into your computer.  It then allows you to get some of the statistics from the group such as your number of shots, and the group size  It also tells you where your shots are in comparison to the center of the target...ie high .75 inches left .5 inches.
To use the Target Analyzer select it from the Tools Menu of the Main Window or press the Shift, Ctrl and F11 keys Simultaneously.
The target can be sized to any dimension however printouts will be scaled to an 8.5 X 11 inch target. To add your bullet shots to the computer target depress the black circle in the toolbox to initiate the input mode then rest your mouse cursor over the target and move it around until the proper measurement appears in the lower readout (use the scale grids to aide your placement, or click on the ruler to get the blue grid helper).  The first number is the width and the second is the length.
When the proper measurement appears simply left click t with your mouse.  You will see a black spot representing your shot appear on the target and the measurement will be listed in the list box at the top right side (to change the hole size representation select resize from the menu then select hole size and enter the caliber.)
If you make an error and want to delete a shot just double click on the shot you want to delete from the fired shots list and click on the remove button.                    If you're not sure which one is the one you wanted to delete you can click on the 'Show Find Ring' selector to highlight the corresponding measurement with a red ring around the shot it represents.  You can add as many shots as you like. Once you have added all your shots to the target click on the Calculate Group Size Button.  This will show you your group size, group center and will show you if your group was high, low or to the left or right of the target center.
You can now save your analyzed target to your computer by clicking the Save File Button.  Enter a Group Name in the first window that appears and a File Name for it in the second window.  If you'd like to print a copy of your target on your printer, simply click on the Print Button.  You can open any saved file by clicking the Open Button and selecting the file to open from the Open File Window.  You can not make any changes to an open file.
